Wendy received her education at Martin Anthony Beauty School as a licensed cosmetologist, followed by her cosmetology teacher’s license in 1992. Just a few months later, the HairWaves legacy was born in Glenmoore, PA. HairWaves developed into what is today by starting out as a salon for locals to walk-in for an on-the-go haircut, style, or color. Thirteen years later, the legacy of HairWaves would be continued by Wendy’s youngest child, Cory Haws Neuhoff. |

Cory graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1997, and shortly after, she began her undergraduate studies at Lock Haven University to pursue a degree in chemistry. She finished her studies at Lock Haven University in 2001 to pursue her passion for the arts when she decided to enroll at the Art Institute of Philadelphia in Center City. In 2003, she found her calling in cosmetology. In 2004, Cory graduated from Empire Beauty School in Pottstown, PA. Just one short year later in 2005 at the age of 25 years old, she bought the business from her mother, Wendy Haws Neuhoff.
Since Cory has taken over at HairWaves, its clientele has been introduced to some of the most high-end and exclusive European products in the hair industry. She quickly became recognized as a master colorist and has been certified by Moroccanoil, Schwarzkopf, Framesi and many other major hair color lines. HairWaves has thrived on Cory’s keen eye for hair artistry, leading to a new market that allowed her to relocate HairWaves at a bigger location in Chester Springs, PA. |

And who could forget our salon mascots! Emme, Lily and Calli are Cory’s rescue mutts/adopted fur "children." The trio can usually been seen sporting the cutest doggie accessories and found relaxing on the couch with you if you happen to be waiting.

| Although we’ve expanded over the years, we’ve never grown beyond our means or lost our identity. We remain a close-knit, local, family-run business, staying true to the passion that guided us to open our doors over 20 years ago. We’re loyal to our long-standing customer base and continue to bring them the salon industry’s premier product lines and techniques at reasonable prices. We believe that everyone should have access to talented salon professionals who truly care about how you look and feel.
